Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Voren, the strategy building, backtesting and optimisation platform operated by Voren Technologies LLC ("Voren", "we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to these terms.
1. The service
Voren provides tools to build trading strategies visually, backtest them on historical market data, optimise their parameters, and export them as MQL5 Expert Advisor files for use in MetaTrader 5. Voren is a research and development tool. It does not execute live trades, hold client funds, or provide brokerage services.
2. No financial advice
Nothing in the platform, its documentation, its pre-built strategies, or our communications constitutes financial, investment or trading advice. Backtest and optimisation results are hypothetical, based on historical data, and are not a guarantee or indication of future performance. Simulated results have inherent limitations: they do not represent actual trading, may under- or over-compensate for market factors such as liquidity and slippage, and are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is made that any account will achieve results similar to any backtest. Trading foreign exchange and CFDs carries a high level of risk and you can lose more than your initial investment. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions and for compliance with the rules of any broker or proprietary trading firm you use.
3. Your account
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your credentials secure. Accounts are personal: one subscription covers one user, and sharing an account is not permitted. You must be at least 18 years old to use Voren.
4. Subscription and billing
Voren is a monthly subscription billed in advance through our payment processor. Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and no further payments are taken. Prices may change; existing subscribers will be given reasonable notice before any change affects them.
5. 60-day money-back guarantee
If Voren is not for you, you can request a full refund of your subscription payments within 60 days of your first payment. To claim it, contact us at support@voren.io from the email address on your account within the 60-day window. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. The guarantee applies once per customer, on your first subscription only.
6. Fair usage
Backtesting and optimisation are unlimited within fair, personal use. Because they run on shared cloud infrastructure, we may apply reasonable technical limits (such as concurrent runs or queue priority) to keep the platform fast for everyone, and we may contact you if your usage is far outside normal individual patterns, is automated or scripted against the service, or suggests account sharing or resale. We will always talk to you before restricting an account for usage reasons, except where the usage is clearly abusive.
7. Your strategies and exported code
Strategies you build belong to you. Exported MQ5 files and any data you export (such as CSV backtest results) are yours permanently and keep working regardless of your subscription status. We do not claim ownership of your trading logic. The Voren platform, its software, engine, data integrations and pre-built strategy templates remain our intellectual property; you may use pre-built strategies within and outside the platform for your own trading, but you may not resell or redistribute them.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to: reverse-engineer, scrape or copy the platform or its datasets; resell, sublicense or share access; use the service to build or distribute malware; or use it in violation of applicable law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
9. Market data
Historical market data is provided by third-party sources and is supplied "as is". We work to keep it accurate and complete but cannot guarantee it is free of errors or gaps, and we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of it.
10. Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, improve or change features over time. If we ever discontinue the service, we will give you reasonable notice to export your strategies and data.
11. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Voren is provided "as is" and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Voren Technologies LLC and its officers, employees and contractors from claims, damages and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your trading activity, or your violation of these terms.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
