Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data Voren Technologies LLC ("Voren", "we", "us", "our") collects when you use voren.io, app.voren.io, the Voren platform and our community (the "service"), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.
Voren Technologies LLC is the controller of your personal data. Our contact details are in section 14.
1. The data we collect
Account data. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, Google account identifier and, if available, your profile picture. We do not receive or store your Google password.
Billing data. Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive your name, email address, billing country, the type and last four digits of your card, its expiry date, and your payment and subscription history. We never see or store your full card number.
Your content. The strategies you build, the backtests and optimisations you run, their results, and the files you export.
AI assistant data. The messages you send to the AI assistant, its replies, and the chat history. We store this history with your account.
Usage and device data. When you use voren.io or app.voren.io, we collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, approximate location based on your IP address, the pages you visit, the features you use, and the actions you take.
Communications data. Emails and messages you send us, and our replies. When you report a problem, we may copy relevant details, such as your email address and a description of the issue, into our internal issue tracker.
Email engagement data. Whether you open our emails and click links in them, and details about your subscription (such as your plan, billing status and whether you have connected Discord) that decide which emails you receive.
Community data. If you join our Discord server, we receive your Discord user ID and username so we can give you the correct role. Messages you post in the server are visible to other members and are also handled by Discord under its own privacy policy.
Advertising data. If we run ads, we may use advertising tools from platforms such as Meta and Google. These can collect information about your visit to our site, such as the pages you view and whether you sign up, and link it to your account with that platform. We may also give these platforms your email address in a hashed (scrambled) form, so they can show our ads to you or to people like you, or stop showing them to existing customers.
Security data. Logs of requests to our service, including IP addresses, which we and our security provider use to protect the service against attacks and abuse.
2. How we use your data and our legal bases
If you are in the UK or the European Union, we must have a legal basis for each use of your data. We rely on these bases:

We do not use your data to make decisions about you by automated means that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
We do not sell your personal data for money. If we run ads, we may share limited data with advertising platforms, as described in sections 1 and 4. You can opt out of this at any time (see section 7).
3. Your strategies are yours
The strategies you build, and the backtest and optimisation results they produce, belong to you and are private to your account.
- We do not trade, share or sell your strategies, and we do not use your strategy logic to build products, signals or strategies of our own.
- We do not look at your strategies in the ordinary course of business. We open an account's content only when you ask us to help, when we need to fix a technical problem, when we investigate abuse or a security issue, or when the law requires it.
- When you use the AI assistant, your messages and the relevant strategy context are sent to our AI model provider to generate a reply. Under our agreement with that provider, it does not use your data to train its models.
- We may publish aggregated, anonymised statistics, such as the total number of backtests run. These never identify you or reveal your strategy logic.
4. Who we share data with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run Voren, and only as much as they need for that purpose. They process it on our behalf and under our instructions.

Some pages include embedded content, such as YouTube or Loom videos. The provider may collect data when this content loads or when you interact with it, under its own privacy policy.
We may also share data:
- if the law requires it, or to respond to a valid legal request
- to protect our rights, our users or the public, for example to prevent fraud
- with a buyer or successor if Voren is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply to your data
- with our parent company, which owns the Voren technology, where needed to run and develop the service
5. International transfers
Voren Technologies LLC is based in the United States, and most of our service providers process data in the United States. If you are in the UK or the European Union, your data is transferred outside it. Where we transfer data, we rely on safeguards recognised by UK and EU law, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses in our providers' data processing terms, or the provider's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK extension.
6. How long we keep data

If you ask us to delete your data, we will delete it sooner, except where we must keep it by law (for example, billing records).
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy
- correct data that is wrong or incomplete
- delete your data
- export your data in a portable format
- object to our use of your data based on legitimate interests, including for analytics
- restrict our use of your data in some situations
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent, without affecting earlier use
- object to marketing at any time, by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us
- opt out of your data being used for targeted advertising, by contacting us or through the cookie settings on our site when they are available
To use any of these rights, email support@voren.io from the email address on your account. We may need to confirm your identity. We will reply within 30 days. We do not charge a fee unless a request is clearly unfounded or excessive.
If you are in the UK, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). If you are in the European Union, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country. We would like the chance to help first, so please contact us.
If you live in a US state with a consumer privacy law, you may have similar rights, and you will not be treated differently for using them.
8. Security
We protect your data with measures such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), network protection, access controls that limit data to the people who need it, and monitoring of our infrastructure. No system is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of your data. If a data breach affects your personal data, we will tell you and the relevant authorities where the law requires.
9. Cookies
We use only essential cookies, to keep you signed in and to keep the service secure. The service does not work without them.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, you cannot sign in.
10. Marketing emails
If you create an account or subscribe, we may send you emails about Voren, such as product updates, tips and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every marketing email. Service emails about your account, billing, security and changes to our terms are not marketing, and we send them while you have an account.
11. Children
Voren is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you think a person under 18 has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Links to other services
Our service links to other websites and services, such as MetaTrader 5, brokers, Discord and YouTube. Their own privacy policies apply to them. We are not responsible for how they handle your data.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. If we make material changes, we will tell you by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when this policy last changed.
